Week of prayer for Christian unity

St David’s Cathedral witnessed an historic event on Sunday 22nd January when over 400 worshippers from all Christian denominations gathered for Ecumenical Vespers.  The address was given by Dr Leslie Griffiths, Minister of Wesley Chapel, London.  His topic was “The Religious Landscape of Wales at the beginning of the 21st Century” and outlined the history, the current pattern and shape of religious life in Wales, and looked to future challenges facing the churches. The address was regarded as as an outstanding contribution to the life of the Cathedral, Archdiocese and beyond.

Congratulations to the diocesan Commission for Christian Unity for organising an outstanding event.  Many thanks to Michael Woodward for taking photographs at the even, which are available on his Flickr feed.
