Signs of Growth within Cardiff Diocese

Earlier today, in an announcement to the clergy of the Cardiff diocese, Archbishop George Stack announced that following on from the priesthood ordination of Fr Bernard Sixtus this past week, there are two impending ordinations to take place later this year within the diocese.

On Tuesday 15 July at 11.30am, Brother Jonathan Rollinson OSB of Belmont Abbey is to be ordained as Deacon.

On Saturday 6th September at 12 noon in St David’s Cathedral, Cardiff, Rev. Michael Doyle will be ordained to the priesthood following a lengthy period of discernment and formation.

You are all asked to keep these men and all those in formation for the diocese in your prayers at this very special time.  These ordinations also mark an up turn following seven dry years for ordinations within the diocese.  Let us give thanks to God!
