Monks of Belmont Abbey Sing Vespers at Cathedral

On Sunday, 20th January 2013, at the invitation of the Archbishop of Cardiff, the Most Reverend George Stack, the Belmont Community sang Vespers at St David’s Cathedral, Cardiff to mark the annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity .

Abbot Paul preached on the “Origins of the Welsh Church in Celtic times”. Although the congregation was small due to the adverse weather conditions the celebration went very well everyone present felt it was a fitting start to the week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
